We're moving to faster server
In a few hours as new DNS settings will propagate, Feed43 will switch to new, more powerful server. Until that, old server will still be running, but won't serve feeds and won't let you create new feeds. Thank you for understanding.

Any thoughts on using Coral Cache (http://www.coralcdn.org/) or something similar? Would it lighten the load on the server much you think?
Thank you for the link. Rather intriguing. I hope to deal with load on my side first (faster server, code optimization/better local caching techniques).
defenitly there has has to to be something like a cache. If you would update the feeds every - lets say - 3 or 6 hours, wouldn't that be enough?
We had the problem, that everytime your service was down our page with the feed didn't work which probably is a problem of our parser ... I don't know.
Did you ever think about selling your page2feed script to webmasters who could install it on their own server and could use the module just for some custom feeds? We would be interested in that!
There is a 6-hour feed cache, but the engine is not polished yet, so there could be issues when malformed search patter would produce zombie processes on the server consuming CPU resources. Last day I've been busy working on this. Hope this (along with our new more powerful server) will eliminate the problems we had recently.
As for installable engine (like forums), I was thinking of that, but there are yet so many things to do until this could be called a product. If you can't wait having your own feed43 engine on-site, your suggestions are welcome.
